We noted a couple of years ago that the Left had picked up on the phrase “parents’ rights” and had universally decided that was a bad thing. Fox News’ Juan Williams said parents’ rights was just code for “white race politics.” MSNBC’s Nicolle Williams claimed that “parental choice,” as defined by Govs. Ron DeSantis and Glenn Youngkin, was “dehumanization” and compared it to “Russians [who] get their soldiers to rape children.”

This educator says that the right-wing “parents’ rights” idea is “literally just fascism” and an attempt to erase trans people.

The Left has made it clear that the “g-word” — groomer — is anti-LGBTQ and hateful. But our definition of groomer includes someone who tries to insert themselves between the child and their family … like the teacher who says, “I’m your mom now.” Parents are seen as the enemy because of their backward beliefs, and school is a safe space away from them. Enough.
