After the verdict, Kirsten Powers alleged that President Donald Trump had portrayed Steinle’s killing as a murder “to stir up bigotry against Mexicans.”

Keep the “Abolish ICE” crew in mind as you read about Florida Deputy Michael Hartwick, who was struck and killed by a car last week driven by Juan Ariel Molina-Salles, an illegal immigrant who’d been expelled to Mexico after crossing over at Eagle Pass, Texas, but managed to cross back over while evading capture. Maybe fly him to Martha’s Vineyard as punishment, huh, since it’s such a cruel thing to do.
