Report: DNC fundraiser featuring Kamala Harris moved from May to September because they couldn't sell enough tickets

We don’t have a lot of experience with Status Coup news, so we’re just going to say that journalist Jordan Chariton is reporting that the DNC’s annual Women’s Leadership Forum, originally scheduled for May, was rescheduled at the last minute for fall because, as he was told, “the DNC couldn’t sell enough tickets.” True or not, we can’t help but be reminded of Vice President Kamala Harris’ performance in the Democratic primaries — maybe she’s just not that popular. She’s even less popular in polls than President Joe Biden, who’s setting records with his dismal approval rating.

Chariton reports that “the much-coveted photo-line slots start at $15,000 and top off at $50,000” — although how coveted could they really be? It was supposedly the highest-tier tickets that weren’t moving, “and the organizers need more time to build interest.”

DNC spokesperson Daniel Wessel countered that “the vice president is a huge draw.”

As Twitchy reported last night, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted out of the blue that Biden plans to run in 2024; which, since no one asked, seems like a sure sign that he might not. Whenever there’s chatter about replacing Biden on the ticket, though, Pete Buttigieg always comes up rather than Harris.

What does Harris even do? Seriously, they don’t let her out very often.
