You remember Miles Taylor, right? He was the “senior administration official” who wrote an anonymous op-ed in the New York Times trashing the Trump administration from within. Suddenly, everyone wanted to know who this senior administration official was — CNN’s Chris Cillizza speculated that it might even have been Vice President Mike Pence, which was also Nancy Pelosi’s first guess. Eventually, we learned “Anonymous” was Taylor, a former chief of staff at the Department of Homeland Security. But now we’re learning that Taylor, who told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace recently that MAGA Republicans “want to kill me,” used to oversee the Secret Service, and he has some news.
I used to oversee the Secret Service. The fact that the Vice President’s Office was worried about danger — from President Trump turning against VP Pence — is both historically unprecedented & terrifying.

That got the attention of the official spokesman for the Secret Service:
Miles, the Secret Service had no knowledge of that conversation according to people with first hand knowledge. At the time, there was never any physical threat of any kind communicated about the Vice President. pic.twitter.com/GGCliFUfwc

The grown-ups who actually oversaw the Secret Service are probably dying at this. https://t.co/mVslR5DdSs

I was the chief of staff of DHS, lol. But I don’t want to deprive you of the bravery that you must feel being a Twitter troll (though I do remember people saying you were a genuinely good staffer). Hope you’re well.

You were a political appointee you didn’t “oversee” anything — please do SOMETHING in your life that doesn’t require resume inflation Miles.

Hey Mr Anonymous, here's a list of the past six directors of the United States Secret Service and your name isn't on it. 🤡 https://t.co/aFPG9Kt2pf pic.twitter.com/aLsKOyDufB

first they had to deal with him screwing up the lunch order, then they have to deal with him thinking he was in charge because they gave him one of those little kiddie badges that says jr agent

"I used to oversee the Secret Service."
And I'm the King of England.

You were a coffee bitch
You oversaw literally no portion of the Secret Service https://t.co/brM0Nb5igG

This motherfucker was the deputy chief of staff at Homeland Security. The only thing he oversaw was the lunch order. https://t.co/ynSajGCdEg pic.twitter.com/HrSfa5YdGm

By "oversee" he means he used to see them do things, and that sometimes they'd tell him to go sit down over there in that corner when he got in their way. https://t.co/VmrAIR3RTM

Except there is zero evidence that Pence's office was worried about anything, that Pence was in any danger, or even that Pence was at the capitol building. https://t.co/LrSGZnshNS

The fact that the former Vice President himself has never said he was worried about danger from Trump — which he would have an absolute duty to say if it was true — suggests that you're full of crap. https://t.co/2DRejePCmf
— Calvin Freiburger (@CalFreiburger) June 4, 2022
So what you're saying is…writing an anonymous op-ed pretending that you were protecting the country from Trump didn't work 🙄 https://t.co/2WbtNaohIQ

He has a new grift going now called Renew America or something. Just know that he’s left the GOP because it can’t be saved. Bye then.
