'Lie of the Year' winner Barack Obama gives another speech on disinformation

Former President Barack Obama has emerged recently to warn America about disinformation. We learned earlier this month that he’s still angry that right-wing “misinformation” kept his baby Obamacare from reaching its full potential.

We noted then that Obama had won PolitiFact’s “Lie of the Year” award for his claim that if you liked your doctor, you could keep your doctor. But this editor’s personal favorite bit of Obama misinformation is the times he claimed he learned of something on the news, just like you did. Like the time he said he learned about Hillary Clinton’s homebrew email server the same time everyone else did, from news reports. This is odd, seeing as he’d been emailing back and forth with her at her private address, [email protected], using his pseudonym.

Anyway, here’s Obama at Stanford warning us all about disinformation:

When Susan Rice went on all five Sunday morning news programs to say it was a protest over a YouTube video … which the WikiLeaks John Podesta email hack proved was a story cooked up the night of the attack. In fact, they were going with another video at first before deciding to blame the one they arrested the director of in the middle of the night.
