As Townhall’s Katie Pavlich points out so succinctly, President Joe Biden’s comms team have had a busy week “clarifying” his words:
Biden claims he did not tell U.S. troops they would be in Ukraine (he did). Biden says he didn't say the U.S. would respond "in kind" to a chemical weapons attack (he did). Biden says he didn't call for regime change (he did).

Biden told reporters Monday, “I’m not walking anything back,” a couple of days after the White House walked back his call for regime change. Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, one of the signatories of that letter calling Hunter Biden’s laptop “Russian disinformation,” attributed Biden’s gaffe to his being Irish.
Now we’re hearing about another cleanup effort. No, the U.S. will not be training soldiers in Ukraine.
NEW: Biden seemed to suggest the US training Ukrainians in Poland: “We’re talking about helping train the Ukrainian troops that are in Poland.”
