That #IStandWithMaya hashtag is what got Rowling into trouble with the woke mob — Maya is Maya Forstater, a British woman who was fired from her job for tweets deemed anti-trans, and by anti-trans, we mean like this: “There are two sexes, male and female. Men and boys are male. Women and girls are female.” That’s what she was fired over.
“Star Wars” actor Mark Hamill liked the tweet but then apologized, saying he didn’t understand the hashtag or its “transphobic connotation.”
On Tuesday, Rowling responded to a video by Anneliese Dodds of the Labour Party marking International Women’s Day.
Labour will lift women up, not hold them back.
