The administration has absolutely dug its feet in: Rather than disrupt the transition to green energy here in the States, the administration would rather continue buying oil from Russia, and even buying oil from Iran is on the table. Progressives see no other option than to keep buying oil from Russia or see gas prices rise even more; besides, according to Jen Psaki, Russian oil makes up only 10 percent of what the U.S. purchases, so we’re not really funding Putin’s invasion.
Sen. Joe Manchin said Thursday that’s he’d happily pay another $10 a gallon for gas to help Ukraine:

Sam Stein of Politico and MSNBC says it’s notable under what conditions Manchin would accept higher gas prices.
Notable when and under what conditions inflation becomes tolerable https://t.co/YLqOYaNTiD

Yes it's amazing how war and mass death move people more than making the president look good on TV.

If the alternative is funding a mass murderer, you mean https://t.co/KrXcsAI0v0

Absolutely astonishing that inflation is a reasonable price to pay to oppose a brutal dictator upending international order and threatening nuclear war.

He wants to pay more by choice, more power to him. You want people forced to pay more and have no choices, to support some agenda you only support because you voted for it.

Why did you delete this tweet admitting Biden's domestic agenda will cause inflation to get worse? pic.twitter.com/IEDlr8chZL

Why delete? Freudian slip? I was told BBB would decrease inflation? pic.twitter.com/eQZYq0fn8Z

Noted that you think a President’s agenda and the hostile invasion of a sovereign nation are equal.

Stein’s got a weird thing for Manchin.
