AFT President Randi Weingarten assures us the CDC's guidance is informed by science, not politics

It was a year ago this month that we learned that teachers’ unions had influenced the CDC’s guidance on reopening schools. The CDC just said it was getting input from stakeholders, but we thought science was the one and only guiding force.
