That ABC News apparently sat on a story about Jeffrey Epstein for three years is bad enough, but then it appeared CBS fired the wrong person after coordinating with ABC. As Yashar Ali reported after interviewing her, “It’s really important to remind folks that Ashley Bianco was not fired by CBS News for leaking the footage of Amy Robach to Project Veritas. No one at either network knows who did that.”
ABC News had determined that Bianco accessed the footage of Robach, but that’s all.
Now the New York Post’s Page Six is reporting that ABC is scrambling to figure out the identity of the Amy Robach leaker. Usually, they’d get an assist from the rest of the mainstream media, who can track down a forklift operator who posted a meme of Nancy Pelosi or the kid who made a GIF of Trump wrestling the CNN logo, but it looks like ABC is on its own this time.

ABC bigwigs are going potty to find the identity of the leaker behind the Amy Robach tape — after the alleged source posted a letter online slamming the network under the name “Ignotus,” a wizard from the “Harry Potter” franchise.
After junior producer Ashley Bianco denied leaking the tape, on which the anchor complained ABC News killed her interview with Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre, someone purporting to be the actual leaker and still working at the network posted a letter on Project Veritas blasting ABC’s “mission of seek and destroy” to conjure up the mysterious mole.
But we thought whistleblowers were to be kept anonymous and regarded as heroes.

But I thought whistleblowers are to be protected

All of a sudden, ABC doesn't want to protect a whistleblower?
— Stephen (@GeronimoFrost) November 12, 2019
Get that whistleblower! Oh wait.. ?
— Fendar ??????????? (@fendar) November 12, 2019
So we don’t predict whistleblower identities this week? So confused
— Michael (@BballMichael) November 12, 2019
Wow, they want to basically out the whistleblower – and not investigate story? #Epsteindidnotkillhimself

What happened to "protect whistleblowers"?

But in the meantime, they will have every female staffer in all of news fired until they get the right one

Don't they have more important things to do, like pretend to report news??
— joseph maurici (@josephmaurici) November 12, 2019
If they only had this kind of vigor in investigating Epstein both before and after death.

Why don't they tell us who killed the story at ABC ?
— Ruben Sivera (@SiveraRuben) November 12, 2019
Why don’t they tell us why they quashed her story in the first place?
— Hpygoluki (@hpygoluki) November 12, 2019
Interesting, but exactly WHO AT ABC is responsible for refusing to air Robach's reporting?
— Brian McKeon (@Bbbmckeon) November 12, 2019
So they want us to guess who it is while Bianco crafts her wrongful termination lawsuit? Okay I'll go for it…has anyone seen Barbara Walters lately…?
