As Twitchy recently reported, The Resurgent’s Erick Erickson tweeted that though they were a minority, he was seeing some Republicans so tired of defending the president that they were considering encouraging President Trump to step aside and make way for President Pence — as if he wouldn’t also be attacked relentlessly every day in office by the same Democrats who have targeted Trump.
