Generous: Trish Regan wouldn't ban 'assault weapons' at gun ranges, but you don't need one at home

Trish Regan, host of “Trish Regan Primetime” on Fox Business, seems to have come up with a sort of compromise position between those demanding a ban and mandatory government buy-back of “assault weapons” and those who claim the Second Amendment is their license to own one … or several.

Seeing as you can’t use “assault weapons” (is it OK if we assume she’s talking about the AR-15?) for home defense or hunting, only sport and mass shootings, why not ban them from everywhere except the gun range?

If there is no place for them in today’s society, then it would follow that they don’t belong at the gun range, either. And is it OK to keep a semi-automatic pistol around the house for self-defense?

And even leaving Barack Obama out of it, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell just had a mob on his front lawn, with one thug caught on video hoping someone “just stabs the mother f**ker in the heart,” and Joaquin Castro is posting the names and workplaces of people who’ve donated to Trump … not that he included a “call to action” or anything, so he’s not culpable is some unhinged follower harasses (or worse) the people he’d named and shamed for supporting white supremacy.
