Fake news: No, The New York Times didn't apologize for its anti-Semitic cartoon

As Twitchy reported earlier, the international edition of The New York Times went out Thursday with one of the most blatantly anti-Semitic cartoons imaginable, showing a blind Donald Trump in a yarmulke being led around by a dog with Benjamin Netanyahu’s face.

The New York Times issued an editor’s note that will appear in Monday’s print edition. We have no beef with Axios, but we’ve read the editor’s note and nowhere do we see an apology:

It was an error of judgment to publish it, sure … but maybe an actual apology is in order?

If you haven’t seen it, here’s the cartoon:

If Donald Trump’s post about 9/11 was an incitement to violence against Ilhan Omar, certainly this cartoon is incitement against Jews.
