As Twitchy reported, the New York Times editorial board went into full political activist mode this week, tweeting the names and phone numbers of key senators and encouraging readers to call and oppose the GOP’s tax reform bill, which passed early Saturday morning, sending liberals into full meltdown mode.
Sen. Bernie Sanders called the GOP tax bill “one of the great robberies in US history because Republicans are looting the Treasury,” and it looks like the New York Times editorial board is following his lead, calling passage of the bill a “heist” in which “Republican donors pick your children’s pockets.”
NYT Editorial Board calls the GOP tax bill a “heist”: “No amount of prevarication can change the fact that Congress and Mr. Trump are giving a giant gift to their donors and sticking the rest of the country with the tab.” https://t.co/xpDoQ0v9vB
