When we most recently checked in on the U.S. Border Patrol, agents were dismantling a surprisingly robust catapult mounted to the border fence that drug smugglers were using to hurl bundles of marijuana from Mexico into the town of Douglas, Arizona.
On Sunday, the Border Patrol announced it had busted a 28-year-old U.S. citizen who allegedly was attempting to smuggle nearly 70 pounds of marijuana by hiding it in a casket, along with some bags of manure to mask the smell.

After stopping the driver of the hearse and discovering “several inconsistencies,” Border Patrol agents called in a canine unit to inspect the vehicle. Agents the arrested the driver for narcotics smuggling and seized the hearse.
Can you let us know when the hearse goes to auction? Asking for a friend.
