We confess: we clicked, and there’s not a lot there. The two studies presented are less about racism than race-based bias, and even that comes down to babies between 3 and 8 months seeming to prefer faces that resemble those they see most often. The refreshing bit, of course, is that studying babies avoids those tedious collegiate discussions of systems of oppression and intersectionality and white privilege and so on.
