What's this? Even MORE emails suggest Huma Abedin was also extremely careless with security

It’s clear from Hillary Clinton’s recent statements — which earned her four Pinocchios from the Washington Post and a “Pants on Fire!” rating from PolitiFact — that she considers all the “confusion” over her unconventional email setup behind her. After all, the FBI cleared her of all charges (in her mind, at least).

The Justice Department might have decided not to indict Clinton, but there’s the little matter of that other lawsuit filed by Judicial Watch. That suit is still going strong, and Freedom of Information Act requests by the group have produced yet another batch of previously unseen emails, which Judicial Watch released today.

Remember in July when Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, revealed in a deposition that her boss destroyed at least some of her schedules as secretary of state? It turns out that Abedin was “extremely careless” with that sensitive document, emailing another aide to let her know Clinton’s schedule had been left on a bed in an unlocked hotel room and was there for the taking.

WikiLeaks adds that Abedin also had access to the secretary of state’s non-secure email address and could apparently read her boss’s email and send replies from it as well.

The Hill also reports Tuesday that “a longtime confidante with deep ties to the Clinton Foundation pressed [Hillary Clinton’s] senior aides to give a job to an unidentified male associate.”

The email disclosing the arrangement “adds to the murky connections between Clinton’s role leading the State Department, her family foundation and a consulting firm for which Abedin worked part-time,” adds Julian Hattem.

Judicial Watch says that male associate, whose name was redacted in the email release, is Clinton Foundation official Doug Band. It reports:

Included in the new document production is a 2009 email in which Band, directs Abedin and [Cheryl] Mills to put Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire and Clinton Foundation donor Gilbert Chagoury in touch with the State Department’s “substance person” on Lebanon. Band notes that Chagoury is “key guy there [Lebanon] and to us,” and insists that Abedin call Amb. Jeffrey Feltman to connect him to Chagoury.

Chagoury is a close friend of former President Bill Clinton and a top donor to the Clinton Foundation. He has appeared near the top of the Foundation’s donor list as a $1 million to $5 million contributor, according to foundation documents. He also pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative. According to a 2010 investigation by PBS Frontline, Chagoury was convicted in 2000 in Switzerland for laundering money from Nigeria, but agreed to a plea deal and repaid $66 million to the Nigerian government.

Nice friends the Clintons have there.

And, as Phil Kerpen tweeted above, there’s more. There’s always more. Judicial Watch has posted the newly revealed emails on its website for the curious. Oh, and mainstream media, you’re welcome to investigate too. You don’t even have to read; there’s a video summary of the new revelations. Even Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton can’t believe what his organization is turning up.

Now, what’s in the rest of the emails no one has seen?
