Once again, it took until 8:00:01 for news organizations to project significant wins for Donald Trump, this time in Connecticut, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Hillary Clinton also looks to be on track to win those states as well as Delaware and Rhode Island.

Big question in RI is whether Cruz hits 10% threshold. Right now, he's at 11%. But, could easily fall under, giving Trump more delegates.

An absence of exit polling in Delaware and Rhode Island means that news networks will have to wait until a handful of votes are counted before making any predictions.
Fox also projects a Hillary win over Bernie in Maryland. No exit polls in DE or RI
— HowardKurtz (@HowardKurtz) April 27, 2016
No network exits in DE/RI, hence the delayed calls.
— Zeke Miller (@ZekeJMiller) April 27, 2016
In 2016, states where votes are counted to determine a winner are considered “delayed calls.” Here’s a start, though, and it looks like a bad night for Bernie Sanders.
CT DEMS (3.5% reporting): Clinton 53.3%, Sanders 44.8%
RI DEMS (1.3% reporting): Sanders 60.6%, Clinton 38.5%— Michael van Poppel (@mpoppel) April 27, 2016
