With Vice President Joe Biden largely out of sight for the last few months, Donald Trump seems to be filling the media’s need for gaffes. Some are clarified later by staffers, so it will be interesting to see if anyone from the Trump campaign is sent out to explain what Trump meant at a rally tonight when he referred to the World Trade Center coming down on 7/11, or if you prefer, 7-Eleven.
The sound of Twitter trying to come up with clever 7/11 puns/accounts and 140 character witticisms #trump #uspoli

Did he really say 7/11?
Yes, it happened. Trump refers to 9-11 as 7-11. ?

It was probably a slip of the tongue, but it’s come across even worse than Biden’s “slight Indian accent” gaffe.
In Buffalo, Trump mistakenly says 7-11 instead of 9-11 when pivoting to talking about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks

Trump: I was down there, and I watched our police and our firemen down at the 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down.

Trump just called 9/11 "7/11"? Where's Ashton Kutcher, because I'm fairly sure America is being Punk'd.

Donald Trump just referred to 9/11, arguably the worst attack on American soil, as 7/11. As in two months before. He's the GOP front runner.

Trump would probably open a 7-11 at Ground Zero.

So really, Trump saw all those Muslims partying and cheering at a 7-11. https://t.co/tA1m0mJUBc

Did Trump really say 7/11 instead of 9/11? Maybe he really is trying to blow it. #finebyme
