Man takes up Donald Trump on 'shoot someone' bet

Seth Richardson of the Reno Gazette-Journal came across an unexpected sight outside the GOP caucuses Tuesday night. Donald Trump has said a lot since, but many will remember his claim that he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York and still not lose votes. Introducing Norman Johnson, the man who offered to challenge that assertion.

And dangerous. If he doesn’t do as well as he expects in Nevada, Trump might be looking for some way to pick up supporters quickly.

A question about those “pistols” … as we remember it, Trump didn’t mention anything about a duel, only that there was nothing he could do that would cost him his die-hard supporters. It was a gallant gesture, though.

Maybe “love” was a bit strong of a word.
