As expected, Sarah Palin took the microphone in Ames, Iowa Tuesday evening to deliver her endorsement of Donald Trump, who quietly stood to the side of the stage. Palin was by any measure fired up and managed to touch on just about every possible campaign issue. “Moderately conservative” Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker imagined a confounded Trump was struggling to follow along.
