The video of a captured Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage was a stern reminder of just how ruthless and brutal ISIS can be. But 45 prisoners burned alive? That’s beyond imagination, and yet by all reports it actually happened. As tempting as it is to jump to conclusions and blame Islamic extremists for this barbaric act, we should follow the lead of the White House and just say a bunch of folks were randomly immolated.
