First lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” website has managed to survive the government shutdown, but park police at Valley Forge National Historical Park in Pennsylvania tried to shut down one person trying to keep fit on federal land.

The Mercury News reports that a 56-year-old marathoner was stopped by park rangers and fined $100 for running in the park Sunday evening. A sign posted at the park entrance notes that use of the grounds and trails is prohibited due to the federal government shutdown, although John Bell says he saw many other runners and cyclists in the park.
