While the world debates whether NSA leaker Edward Snowden is an undisputed hero or just another sniveling punk-ass traitor, spare a thought for Kim Dotcom. The Megaupload founder, who was indicted in 2012 on charges of online piracy, racketeering and conspiring to commit copyright infringement and money laundering, made a play for relevancy by “defacing” the U.S. Embassy in Berlin this week with what he’s calling a “truth projection.”
Is the phrase “United Stasi of America” more or less scathing when coupled with a photo of Dotcom’s rather round face? Before you answer, check out Dotcom’s video of the truth projection, accompanied by some minimal techno and lyrics asking, “What happened to change, Mr. President?”

Seeing as President Obama dismissed Snowden as “some 29-year-old hacker” not worthy of scrambling jets, we’re doubting he’s feeling “Owned.”
