Bogus report of people trapped at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Mo., spreads

There was plenty of confusion in St. Louis, Mo., tonight as tornado activity kicked up soon after major twisters hit the Oklahoma City area. Reports spread by AccuWeather of people trapped in the debris of Busch Stadium turned out to be anything but accurate.

There were also reports of a “mass casualty event” at a Holiday Inn in Earth City, Mo., but those too seem to have been premature.
