Good news for Sen. Bob Menendez: there’s another “sex” scandal of sorts going on this weekend, and it doesn’t involve you whatsoever. The bad news: Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy, a Republican, has set a rather high bar for elected officials by resigning his post in the face of what has been called “improper cell phone calls to four women, other than his wife.” Omaha.com piles on the salacious details, adding that the calls were made on a state-issued cell phone and were made “in the wee hours of the night.”
