Ashley Judd 'certainly taking a close look' at Senate run against Mitch McConnell

Word that actress Ashley Judd is considering a run for office has been making the rounds for quite a while, with many assuming a campaign would take the form of a run against Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). Louisville Courier-Journal reporter James Robert Carroll wasn’t able to pry an announcement from Judd at an event in D.C. tonight, but he came close.
