We just posted a thread aggregating all we know about the guy who was arrested for assaulting Paul Pelosi with a hammer in his San Francisco home. Even though Joe Scarborough is certain it was an assassination attempt on Speaker Nancy Pelosi, what we know about the man’s politics is overshadowed by homelessness, drug abuse, and psychotic episodes. Scarborough managed to implicate Donald Trump, tweeting that “If you want to know just how numb America has become to Trump’s inspiring of fascist violence,” just look at where the New York Times put the story on its front page.
We haven’t written about Rob Reiner for a couple of days and would have been happy to have kept it that way, but of course, he found a way to blame Trump for the attack on Pelosi.
Donald Trump has been spreading The Big Lie for 2 years. The violent assault on Paul Pelosi and the attempt to murder Speaker Pelosi is directly related to that Lie. Donald Trump is 100% responsible for this and Jan.6. He must be indicted and never be allowed to hold office.

All that really matters to Reiner is that last part, about Trump never being allowed to hold office again. It’s also what drives Rep. Liz Cheney to make herself more and more irrelevant. Seriously, think about it: Some nut breaks into Pelosi’s house and Reiner immediately tweets that “Donald Trump is 100 percent responsible” for it.
