Progressives tried their best last week to make a thing out of Donald Trump supporters giving Nazi salutes at his “frightening rally in Ohio.” (Tristan Snell tried to pull the same Nazi salute stunt with video from a Doug Mastriano campaign event in Pennsylvania, where some people were so in Nazism that they raised both arms and bowed their heads as if in prayer.) The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin managed to make a whole column out of how you can’t “reach out” to Nazis.
“Ethics guy” Walter Shaub got the ball rolling with three tweets accompanied by this same Reuters photo:
