Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema are standing strong against the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending bill, and it’s caused some Democrats to lose their minds. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threw down the race card, accusing her of excluding members of color from negotiations. Some have called for Manchin and Sinema to be stripped of their committee assignments (please do), while others have proposed using extortion to get Manchin to have a change of heart.
The Onion has decided to take a shot at Sinema, and let’s just call it a misfire.

Imagine being told ten years ago the highest rated late night talk show would be on Fox News and a Christian satire site would be running laps around the onion. Yet, here we are. https://t.co/eDGypAGYeq

Sinema is funnier than The Onion.
Sen. Kyrsten Sinema answers progressive Dems who are ‘frustrated they don’t know where you are’ https://t.co/TpkW2IxRrf
