Calgary Police take down Christian pastor for 'inciting or inviting others to attend an illegal public gathering'

Unfortunately, the video’s not on our post anymore — the poster has been suspended — but back in April, a Christian pastor in Calgary, Alberta was shown driving the COVID-19 police out of his church. It seems the police have gotten their revenge, though, as Pastor Artur Pawlowski and his brother, David, were arrested for “inciting or inviting others to attend an illegal public gathering,” also known as a church service.

Boy, it’s no wonder why VICE News called out Fox News’s Tucker Carlson in April for spending 12 whole minutes going off about Canada’s “dangerous authoritarianism,” after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that incoming travelers to Canada who tested positive for COVID-19 would need to immediately quarantine in designated government facilities, better known as “COVID hotels.”

Would calling the service a Black Lives Matter protest have worked up in Canada?
