We were pretty sure that President Biden would take off his mask to deliver his address to Congress Wednesday night, but it’s funny to see Vice President Kamala Harris and Speaker Nancy Pelosi sitting behind him and masked up. Attendance was limited to 200 to allow social distancing, and everyone in the chamber has been vaccinated. And they’re all wearing masks and giving elbow-bumps.
Every senator and member of Congress has been vaccinated. So has the president, vice president, and speaker. So has every cabinet official and Supreme Court justice. Literally everyone in the room is vaccinated. So why are they only allowing 200 people into the house chamber?
