Virgin Atlantic is doing away with its “Flying Lady” icon and replacing it with five new icons that will soon adorn their new fleet of aircraft. Is diversity why the airline needs five icons to replace its old one?
We’re guessing the rainbow shorts on the white guy is a not-so-subtle way of indicating that he’s gay — not that there’s anything wrong with that.

We’re disappointed to see that Virgin Atlantic is still fat-shaming, although maybe that’s the fifth icon they didn’t include in the tweet.

Good God.
How about you put in some actual virgins, like a bespectacled nerd? I'm not seeing anybody there who stands to spend their Friday nights alone.

I don't see any east Asian, Innuit, Arabic, Indian or Ginger representation here. I guess you don't want our money.

Wait–I'm a straight white guy. Am i allowed to fly on Virgin?

Cue the outrage from the 68 genders not represented.

Now we’re really curious to see that fifth icon — we’re kind of hoping there’s a wheelchair. We’ll just spin the intersectionality wheel and see where it stops …
