Predictably, celebrities are blaming the NRA and not the shooter for the massacre, and they’re calling for what Sally Kohn is now calling “BASIC common sense gun reform.”
Another mass shooting, this time at an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Tehama County in Northern California. Tragic and sickening! Exactly how many people have to die before Congress acts on BASIC common sense gun reform?!?!
— Sally Kohn (@sallykohn) November 14, 2017
Doesn’t California already have some of the most strict gun control in the country? And that didn’t stop the shooter?
California has the top state rating from the Brady Foundation. Try again. https://t.co/l2PXGpGLg8

California has the strictest gun control laws in the country. https://t.co/EwVsa4baW9

You do know that California has some of the strictest gun laws in the US, right? If anything, this is more evidence that the insane, criminals and evil doers don’t respect laws. It doesn’t take much intelligence to realize that fact. https://t.co/90r9UngfE7
— Dean Winchester (@DizzyDean79) November 14, 2017
California's laws are the MOST strict in the country, not a single national law proposed is as tough as California, not even close. Try again. https://t.co/wtRLEWU451

California is controlled entirely by Democrats. Try again. https://t.co/JbfXf3v8yZ

What, exactly, is basic common sense gun reform?
Stop. Be specific. https://t.co/Ubn2k4FTA5
— Gabriel Malor (@gabrielmalor) November 14, 2017
Like gun free zones? background checks? restrictions on ppl with criminal records? Let's hear them Sally instead of you just yelling virtue into the void https://t.co/qXQXiikr0z

Just because you call something "common sense":
1. Doesn't mean it is
2. Doesn't make any promise to work. https://t.co/9Z37cYewrE
— Gordon S (@LibertyEncyclo1) November 14, 2017
Sorry, Sally, but people like you have made it quite apparent that knowledge on firearms is not common. How are we to believe equally ignorant lawmakers will pass any "common sense" gun laws? https://t.co/rwABIAhoWD
— Superfan (@SlyguyDesign) November 14, 2017
Define "BASIC common sense" or is it just a term you use to be condescending towards people who don't hold the same views as you? https://t.co/s3FDKtaKcb
— Big Smooth (@7feetdeep) November 14, 2017
They never define "common sense gun reform" it's just a buzz phrase the left uses to put up a guise of caring. https://t.co/N3FhRZ3JdV

As usual, Sally is completely fact-free in her analysis. https://t.co/rTDBuhWYhW

It was at 7 different locations and no students were killed at the elementary school.
But hey, I can type in ALL CAPS and use lots of ?!?!?!?!?!?! https://t.co/BBWqDby817
— Ryan Saavedra 🇺🇸 (@RealSaavedra) November 14, 2017
1. It wasn’t a mass shooting
2. It started out as a domestic violence incident
3. What makes you automatically assume this person was a legal gun owner?
4. Stop blaming congress because CRIMINALS break the law https://t.co/pRIhrkQgAN

No need for facts. No need to pause and mourn. Just narrative only narrative. It’s never about actual victims, it’s about agendas. https://t.co/Qv9BQ9hv1E

I bet Sally wishes we had background checks and a ban against "assault rifles" and "30 round clips". https://t.co/629Dp4haCH
— theRoddick (@_jbarker) November 14, 2017
Does common sense mean ban, seize, mandatory buyback? That’s the only thing to decrease # of guns. So why not be specific and say so? https://t.co/i44aDI80dh
— Deplorable Hombre (@DeploreHombre) November 14, 2017
Another lefty scream of "common sense gun control" without any substantive suggestion. How is this helpful? Its this type of hysteria that leads me to believe they won't be happy until it's Australia-level crackdown on guns. Even then… https://t.co/10jB0tfOha
— Jake Korus (@Twiterless_Jake) November 14, 2017
Just yesterday, The Boston Globe floated the idea of gun seizures and buybacks from law-abiding citizens.
Schools are already gun-free zones, Sally. And just look how well that worked out. https://t.co/ayYDFLl6IK

Congress has enacted "BASIC common sense gun reform." Those laws are on the books and have been for a long time now. You ought to be honest about the fact that you and many other on the left want far more extreme and divisive action on guns. https://t.co/DVszOsftQv
