As Twitchy readers know, Lefty Twitter got their hair on fire when their very own “influencer” @JoJoFromJerz lost access to her account by clicking on a clearly suspicious link her DMs (that’s Direct Messages, for those who don’t speak Twitter).
Well, she’s back and naturally she announced it in the classiest of ways:
Charming.
As to what she missed? Well, it seems that some folks took the opportunity in her absence to do a little digging into what JoJo gets up to when she’s not constantly spewing immature, substance-free bile about a man who hasn’t been in office for almost three years now:
Looks like JoJoFromJerz was trying to sell tweet packages to Dem candidates for $2000. What an absolute sellout. She’s only in it for the money. This is honestly one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen. Hopefully someone looks into this. https://t.co/7UxyS5r9RA

Imagine that.
Now, there’s not anything necessarily wrong with trying to monetize an account with such a large following. It’s just that some people seem to be under the impression that JoJoFromJerz is doing what she does solely because she believes in the cause:
Wow. Unfollowed her.
I don't get it. If I had her following, I'd promote every Dem candidate I could for free because I care and because I can, not for the almighty dollar.
Huge turn off for me.

I like @JoJoFromJerz , but if this is true it’s pretty disappointing https://t.co/sdHGowe6Ll

And as far as that large following goes:
She’s a fraud. Secrets out. Now stop following and retweeting her awful tweets please. 750K followers? How? Why?

At the beginning of 2022 she started gaining 60,000+ followers a month. How does one amass that many followers over that many months? pic.twitter.com/r82wH8ZSrL

Jo has gained almost 650,000 followers since March of 2022. I have no clue how that’s possible.

When you’ve lost Angela Belcamino…
But wait, there’s more!
Tweeter @RummaTumTums has a great thread that sums up whatever it is that’s going on:
🧵There's a lot of really weird stuff going on in #PillowTwitter.
A quick recap: @JoJoFromJerz was allegedly approached by a Twitter Blue user who hacked her account. Then she used @PillowFightCo and @GoodPillowCo accounts tweet that news out. pic.twitter.com/66q8Ka8yQk
— Tiger Claws (@RummaTumTums) December 21, 2022
While hacked, the hackers were running two scams: The first was trying to sell her her account back for $400 under threat of auctioning it off to the highest bidder.
On the other hand, they were apparently selling Macbooks that don't exist for $500 a pop to her contacts.
— Tiger Claws (@RummaTumTums) December 21, 2022
Meanwhile, her employer William LeGate (now blocked) was complaining that she wasn't responding to him about what was going on, and the people who acquired the fake Macbooks are being sent to him as "customer support."
But … and I'll put this plainly, NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE.

Legate went on lock earlier today, so if you can’t see his tweets that are referenced in this thread, it’s either that he’s still locked or he has you blocked.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this spins out.
