It's very hard not to be a conspiracy theorist these days, especially as I get to watch -- in real time -- the news about Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis spread just as Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson release their opportunistic book about Biden's cognitive decline and the cover-up thereof.
As I mentioned yesterday, this cancer diagnosis makes the scandal worse, not better. It also helps connect some of the dots, making it clear this diagnosis was not (contrary to the narrative) a recent or new one. I would bet money Joe Biden had a cancer diagnosis years ago; heck even Dr. Zeke Emanuel (the guy who wants us all to die at 75) told MSNBC there was no way Biden didn't have this diagnosis during his presidency. I don't like Dr. Emanuel, but it's not like he's a MAGA-hat wearing Trump supporter.
Several people have called to let go of the cognitive decline scandal in light of this diagnosis, including David Axelrod and Sen. Chris Van Hollen.

While I will not for a second celebrate the diagnosis, this does not grant Biden or ANYONE ELSE immunity from questions about the cover up of his overall…

I am not going to let this go, either.
Joe Biden has cancer.
To the best of my knowledge, the rest of the Biden family does not. Nor do most members of the Democratic Party or media who engaged in the biggest scandal in American presidential history.
It is perfectly legitimate—nay, necessary, and reasonable—to demand they answer questions.
Let's be real for a moment: Joe Biden wasn't orchestrating any of this. He wasn't even capable of running the country. The people around him who did orchestrate this and who did lie about it to the public, do not now get to use Biden's illness as a shield for their wrongdoing.
At a minimum, a bare minimum, the Biden family and the Democratic Party committed blatant and public elderly abuse of Joe. For their own political gain and power. The media turned a blind eye to all of this, and they're complicit as well. Biden is a victim in all of this. An unsympathetic one, to be sure, but a victim nonetheless.
But it goes much deeper than that.
They hid his health problems throughout his first term and then pushed him to run for a second term. They likely knew, full well, that Biden would die in office during his second term. And if he didn't, they knew he wouldn't be the one calling the shots for most of it.
And they were fine with it.
Because it kept them in power and control.
It's possible, bordering on highly likely, they also knew the news of his cognitive decline would leak. They then sat on the cancer news in the hopes such a bombshell would do what some are calling for: sweep the cover-up discussion (and possible investigation) under the rug in the name of 'compassion' for the Biden family and their present suffering.
I have no doubt they're suffering. Cancer sucks. It truly does.
But the suffering is also self-inflicted. Rather than let Joe retire and spend his final years sitting on the beach, they pushed him into office in 2020 and would've kept him in office today if his applesauce brain hadn't betrayed them during the debate.
Their last act cannot be to hide behind his diagnosis to avoid explaining to the American people why they did what they did.
