I Won't Forget Joe Biden

As I write this, it is 12:30 p.m. Central Time and in less than 24 hours, Donald Trump will be president and Joe Biden will be gone.

Hallelujah.

But he cannot be forgotten. We cannot allow his legacy to fade into the sunset or be dismissed a mere placeholder between two Trump terms; we have to remember what a malicious, spiteful, incompetent, and dictatorial authoritarian Joe Biden was -- both before he ascended to the presidency and during.

The last four years have been, politically speaking, a disaster for everyday Americans like me. Eggs cost $5 a dozen (and that's on the low end). Gas prices are still hovering around $3.00 a gallon. Insurance rates keep going up. All while wages are stagnant and Americans work multiple jobs to make ends meet (about 1/3 of Americans have at least one additional job).

But rather than focus on making lives better for Americans, Joe Biden seemed more hellbent on punishing us and seeking revenge on his primary political opposition: Donald Trump.

MAGA -- remember Ultra MAGA -- Republicans were the cause of all the nation's ills. Joe Biden forgot Philadelphia and his Red Speech. But I have not.

Supposed white-supremacists were the biggest domestic terrorist threat to America, Joe insisted, while his DOJ threw pro-life grandmothers in prison, investigated Catholics, and kept track of Moms for Liberty.

They led a corrupt investigation into Texas Children's Hospital whistleblower Eithan Haim, while Joe Biden commuted the sentence of dozens of death row inmates duly convicted and sentenced for their violent crimes.

He didn't have the decency to acknowledge Laken Riley, a young Georgia woman who died as a direct result of his weak border policies:

And no, saying her name wrong doesn't count.

Then again, Joe Biden was always pretty aloof when it came to respecting those killed thanks to his failed leadership.

During the election, Democrats had the temerity to say Donald Trump was disrespecting our troops after he gave the families of those fallen soldiers time and acknowledge their losses.

We can't forget how Biden attacked the one member of the White House Press Corps who actually did his job, Peter Doocy:

Remember how Jill Biden said 'decency was on the ballot'? Good times. If Joe had an (R) after his name, this would be an affront to the First Amendment and an authoritarian attack on the free press.

But it's (D)ifferent when Biden does it.

Thanks to his weak foreign policy, Russian invaded Ukraine and we got stuck with the bill while Hamas attacked Israel and we also had to pay that bill. It wasn't unil Trump was reelected and vowed to rain hellfire on Hamas that a deal was struck.

Biden tried to take all the credit for it.

Even though Biden's own State Department acknowledged the deal wouldn't have happened without team Trump.

But perhaps the most egregious and frightening act of this presidency happened in the last 48 hours, when Joe Biden tried to unilaterally amend our Constitution by declaring the long-dead Equal Rights Amendment the 'law of the land.'

All of this, of course, stems from the fact Joe Biden has been mentally unfit to serve from day one. And everyone around him knew it, covered it up, and continued driving this country into the ground.

Even Speaker of the House Mike Johnson knew Biden wasn't all there and only just now admitted that to in an interview with The Free Press.

Back in November, I went to a Comic Con in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During one of the breakout panels, Gary (better known as Nerdrotic) said the election results made it feel like a weight has been lifted. And it has been. We rejected the malaise, maliciousness, and mismanagement of the Biden years for a return to something resembling sanity.

I will not miss Joe Biden.

And I will not forget what he did.
