It’s been a rough couple of days for BuzzFeed’s Kate Aurthur, what with being raked over the coals for her bigoted hit piece on “Fixer Upper” hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines.

And she’s had just about enough of all the criticism, thank you very much:

While a few jerks out there may have called her the c-word or sent her death threats, it’s probably a pretty safe bet that most of the pushback she received was from people calling her out for being a hack — which she is. Aurthur deserved to be shamed for her garbage post. And her behavior today isn’t likely to make the shaming stop:
