Of course! Melania Trump knows who's to blame for Donald's dirty 'boy talk'

It can’t be much fun being Melania Trump these days, what with the overabundance of dirt being dug up on her husband, not the least of which are his disgustingly sexist and misogynistic conversation with Billy Bush in 2005, a conversation he had while Melania was pregnant with his child. But in an interview this afternoon with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Melania made it very clear who’s responsible for Donald’s boasts about sexually assaulting women — and it’s not Donald. Well, not really, anyway:

More from CNN:

“I said to my husband that, you know, the language was inappropriate. It’s not acceptable. And I was surprised, because that is not the man that I know,” the wife of the Republican presidential nominee said in an exclusive interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, which is set to air at 8 p.m. ET Monday.

“And as you can see from the tape, the cameras were not on — it was only a mic. And I wonder if they even knew that the mic was on,” she said, referring to Trump and NBC’s “Access Hollywood” host Billy Bush.

She said they were engaged in “boy talk, and he was led on — like, egged on — from the host to say dirty and bad stuff.”

In other words, it’s not really Donald Trump’s fault that he’s a lecherous cretin. Billy Bush’s hands are far from clean in all this, but the notion that he pressured Donald Trump into behaving like a dirty old man is just plain stupid.

Serious question: What does it say about Donald that he’s so impressionable?
