President Obama was unusually talkative during his press conference Monday, which isn’t surprising, seeing as he’s under a strict time limit and has two difficult tasks to tackle at once: handing over the White House to Donald Trump, and shoring up his own legacy.
It was 2010 when President Obama went all-in on his car metaphor, crediting Democrats with finally getting the car out of the ditch only to find the Republicans demanding the keys back so they could drive it back in. “No! You can’t drive,” he said. “We don’t want to have to go back into the ditch. We just got the car out.”
He hasn’t spoken a lot about that car since, but on Monday he noted that it’s in pretty good shape.

Unfortunately, he failed to share that he’d left the car parked outside over the weekend, and anti-Trump demonstrators had smashed out the windshield and kicked in the door.
insert a hearty belly laugh now! From his view on Penn Ave it does probably look good….that's why Hillary got rejected!
