The last thing many people want to see on a person’s face is something that reminds them of a trip to the farm. Moo! But women, and even some men, insist that nose rings are not only fashionable but also attractive. In reality, no. In fact, many conservatives associate a pierced septum with a dangling shiny hoop to be a warning sign that the person attached is a raging leftist. Blue or green hair usually seals the deal. It’s that cut and dry.

Well, it’s not just conservatives who think it looks like shiny snot.
But conservatives do see the ring as a sign of wokeness.

A septum rings draws a viewer’s eyes to the space between the nose and the upper lip. The tiny loop makes it almost impossible to focus on the wearer’s eyes.
Posters say besides being a huge distraction when trying have a conversation they also send an unflattering message.
