Twitchy reported on this story yesterday. Since then, the campaign to persuade Stan Lee to meet with Taft High School shooting victim Bowe Cleveland has gotten its own hashtag: #StanLeeMeetBowe. The effort has really taken off, with Taft students leading the way and others joining in:

Lee is creator or co-creator of Spider-Man and many other Marvel Comics characters. He tweeted about the shooting yesterday:
My thoughts go out to Taft, CA and the families of Taft Union HS affected by today's tragedy. My condolences—
— Stan Lee (@TheRealStanLee) January 10, 2013
He has not yet responded to the requests for an in-person meeting with Cleveland.
It’s less than 2-hour drive from Los Angeles to the Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, Calif. How about it, Mr. Lee?
