Twitter user threatens to assassinate Mitt Romney

Whoever this is, he (or she) posted a similar threat earlier today:

Both posts were removed at approximately 8:35 pm ET today (while this post was being drafted).

The user now says he was joking:

i was only joking about my romney comments, i know now that they are serious and should not be put on twitter even as a joke…
