In case you missed it — and you most likely did, unless you were stuck in a waiting room somewhere — the guest of honor on today's edition of "The View" was ABC News Chief Washington Correspondent Jon Karl. Worked out great since the Hunter Biden plea agreement news had just broken a short time earlier.

Sometimes, Jon Karl does actual journalism. But other times — more times — he comes down pretty firmly in the "Mainstream Media Hack" category. Unfortunately today was one of those times.
I've learned at this point not to have the highest of expectations for most professional and quote-unquote "respectable" journalists, but, like, come on. What even is this?

Jon's apparent confusion is troubling and cringy enough on its face, but it becomes even more troubling and cringy in light of what he said prior to what's in the above clip. Watch:

I'm guessing Jon gets paid a lot of money to find out what's going on. But he doesn't seem to know what's going on. Or maybe he just doesn't care enough to find out. Either way, "incurious" is never a great look for a journalist.
