Few public figures deserve more blame for screwing over a generation of children during the COVID pandemic than American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten. She can deny it and gaslight about it until she’s blue in the face, and she can turn off replies to her tweets as often as she wants, but the fact remains that Randi Weingarten is bad for children, bad for families, and bad for America.
Basically, there is no shortage of reasons to absolutely loathe her. But somehow, GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene managed to find the one line of attack that is genuinely unfair, not to mention downright shameful:

Regardless of your political inclinations, that should piss you off.
Randi Weingarten may not be a biological mother to her wife’s child, but that doesn’t negate the love she feels for that child. And for Marjorie Taylor Greene to suggest that as a stepmother or adoptive mother, Weingarten is somehow less of a mother than she’d be if she’d carried the child is offensive and gross.
