Newsflash: Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren is an aspiring tyrant who, if given the chance, wouldn’t hesitate to punish anyone who gets in her way or offends her authoritarian progressive sensibilities.
OK, OK … so technically that’s not a newsflash. You already knew she was like this. But it never hurts to be reminded.
And she’s apparently determined to remind us whenever she has a chance:
Every candidate for federal office should have their tax returns automatically released. Then we wouldn’t have had to spend so long chasing down Donald Trump’s.

According to Elizabeth Warren, if you’re a private citizen who’s even thinking about running for federal office, you’d better be OK with your personal tax return information being released in full to the public. And it stands to reason that if, like in Donald Trump’s case, you used to serve in federal office but are now a private citizen, you’d better be OK with your personal tax return information being released in full to the public. Comes with the territory, you see.

Notice that Sen. Warren didn’t say what should be done with the tax returns of those who currently serve in federal office. Probably just an oversight on her part.
I agree. I want Trumps. I especially want Faucis, @SpeakerPelosi, and all of the Swamp who are consistently re-elected.

Ooo, yes. Nancy Pelosi’s tax returns are probably very interesting indeed.
You hear that @SpeakerPelosi ?

See where this slippery slope ends up, Liz?
While we're at it… they should have DNA tests to show if the race they claim they are is accurate… right, Pocahontas?

Every candidate for federal office should be disqualified from office or ever taking office if they lied about their race to attend college.
— Jason Calvert (@JCalOfficial) December 27, 2022
That seems pretty reasonable to me. Also quite fair, seeing as they effectively robbed someone equally or more qualified of admission. That’s a crime of sorts, no?
Hey, @ewarren, should you really be the one to call for greater candidate transparency? In a better world, a fraud as shameless as yourself would’ve been forced to leave public life in disgrace many moons ago. Your whole life is predicated on a lie. https://t.co/rNnMEhKA2D

Perhaps Sen. Warren could take the opportunity to lead by example.
so…, you're providing your tax return voluntarily in the next 24 hours for ALL to see? https://t.co/AHE8utZvt6

You know, maybe I didn’t really give Elizabeth Warren a chance and consider the merits of her idea. This could actually be a great idea after all.
I bet yours are interesting. Let’s start with all the money you made as an “educator” pretending to be a Native American.
Then, let’s collect all of that and return it to the people you defrauded. https://t.co/0P35WEop3B

Release your tax returns next. Then Pelosi’s. Release the entire congressional body’s tax returns. Americans deserve to see who elected officials really work for—who they’re beholden to, and how their $174,000 salaries are magnified into millions and millions. https://t.co/mgPiYzvPC0
