Joe Walsh shares how his good friend Charlotte Clymer helped him see the anti-LGBTQ error of his ways

This past October, former hardcore musket-grabbing Trumper turned failed Resistance Republican presidential candidate Joe Walsh marked National Coming Out Day by coming out as a conservative. A “proudly woke” conservative, to be specific.

Politically, I’m a conservative. And I’m woke. Newly woke. Proudly woke. Just means my eyes are now open to basic injustices & inequities. My eyes weren’t always open. But now they are. I think that’s a good thing. And yes, I’m still a conservative.

Apparently he’s still on a real coming-out kick, because yesterday, he wrote a Twitter thread all about his blossoming friendship with Charlotte Clymer, a left-wing activist and trans woman who identifies as a lesbian. That’s the L and the T!

Anyway, apparently the two of them have really hit it off:

Should the government be able to force a Jewish graphic designer to design invitations to a “The Holocaust was a hoax” party? Or force a Muslim designer to design a “Muhammad was a pedophile” poster?

LGBTQ people are born LGBTQ. That is not a choice for us. It is an immutable characteristic.

Walsh actually had a pretty logical take on the 303 Creative LLC v. Elenis case that’s before the Supreme Court, and because he offended Charlotte Clymer — who regularly tweets heinous things about conservatives — he decided to take it all back and beg for absolution.
