Stephen King reveals what 'RepublicGuns seem to prefer' since ''woke' is a dirty word'

Over a period of decades now, Stephen King has built himself a career as a highly respected and highly successful author of fiction. It’s made him millions of dollars as well has helped him amass a Twitter following of more than seven million people.

Unfortunately, it seems that that’s where King’s success stops. Because when he actually starts tweeting stuff, he gives us good reason to doubt his entire career.

Because how can a man who’s written so many books that have sold a bazillion copies possibly send out come with something like this, let alone tweet it out for the entire world to see:

“RepublicGuns”? Who is he trying to impress here? No, really. Who? How does that tweet have more than 31,000 likes? We have to assume that most of them are just pity-likes. Or at least that’s what I’m going to tell myself.

Because man. It’s bad. Real bad.

The cringe. It hurts. It hurts so much.

I’ve personally never read a Stephen King book, but I’ve seen “The Shawshank Redemption” a whole bunch of times and I really like it, so I take it he’s at least a mildly talented author. Of things that aren’t tweets, anyway.

Three years? That seems a little low, honestly.

And maybe throw one in about Elvis’ hips, just for good measure.

I’m legit embarrassed for this guy.

I’m not sure, but if Stephen King has people in his life who really care about him, they’ll get him off Twitter and take him outside for some fresh air.
