Dan Rather apparently hopes that his 'just an observation' about Twitter trolls will make people forget that he's the Godfather of Fake News

One of the great things about this country is that, at least in theory, we all have freedom of speech.

That even extends to people who regularly say stupid things.

And that means that we get to see lots of crap from folks like disgraced newsman Dan Rather. Crap like this, for example:

Yes, people do mix those up quite a bit. Almost as much as they’ve mixed up Dan Rather with a respectable journalist.

Dan would much rather focus on some people’s unintentional grammatical mistakes than his own intentional journalistic malpractice and moral failings.
