Former Lincoln Project senior adviser Kurt Bardella tells Joy Reid that al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, and the Taliban 'got nothing' on today's GOP [video]

Kurt Bardella may have left the Lincoln Project, but their unhinged ugliness has stayed with him.

Last night, he told Joy Reid and fellow guest Angela Rye that the likes of al-Qaeda and Osama bin Laden and the Taliban have “got nothing on” today’s GOP:

DERANGED: MSNBC contributor, former Lincoln Project guy, and GOP flack-turned-Democrat Kurt Bardella says Donald Trump and the GOP are WORSE and have done MORE damage to American than al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, and the Taliban combined.

Well, considering that Joy Reid would absolutely agree with an insane take like that, she wouldn’t push back, would she?

His quote: "I've been thinking to myself this whole time — you know, Al Qaeda, Osama bin laden, the Taliban, the people who wanted to do harm to our nation and to our way of life and democracy, they got nothing on what this Republican Party is doing."

You okay w/this, @MSNBCPR?

This is pretty much MSNBC’s brand now.

I like how they had to dig up a photo of Roy Moore. lol

Guess MSNBC forgot that Roy Moore got run out on a rail — by the GOP.

I knew Angela Rye and Joy Reid were radicals, but no facial expressions or pushback after this deranged statement?! https://t.co/GU1rxsCLsO

Joy’s show is just the “say the dumbest thing possible to keep getting invited on” olympics, https://t.co/gUeUYPcr9G

Does this top Stelter’s guest who said Trump was responsible for more deaths than Hitler, Stalin, etc? come to think of it, Brian also said nothing to push back on THAT guest. Sort of a pattern.

Yep. It’s important to remember that CNN also puts up with this kind of stuff.

Color me shocked that a guy on the side that talks about how Trump denigrated our American body politic and made our lives more caustic and contentious goes out and, without pushback, says the GOP has done more to damage our democracy than anything al-Qaeda and the Taliban did.

Evergreen exit reminder:

They all knew about John Weaver.
